On April 24, 2024, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Hang Seng Bank held the “Digital Transformation Solution Day: Breaking through the New Realm of Catering and Retail Industry” seminar, inviting representatives from seven industries to give speeches, and it was a complete success.
The theme of the conference is “Breakthrough into the New Realm of Catering and Retail Industry”. The purpose is to motivate that guests from different industry backgrounds can share market information and provide solutions, thereby supporting the strategic business development of participants. As one of the invited speakers at the conference, QFPay was honored to give speech together with other industry elites, sharing our opinions, business strategies and QFPay online and offline payment solutions for the catering industry and retail industry in 2024 with many participants.
At the meeting, a representative of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Co., Ltd. took the initiative in introducing the government’s newly launched “Digital Transformation Support Pilot Programme”; Hang Seng Bank introduced various measures to support small and medium-sized enterprises, such as loan business and mobile QR codes (convenient retail industry payment collection) plan. Matthew, our senior sales manager of QFPay, analyzed Hong Kong’s economy, retail statistics and trends, and the current difficulties faced by the industry. Of course, we also highlighted the QR code scanning ordering and electronic system and cash register (POS) interface technology (API) for operation staff to speed up the ordering and payment process for merchants. Our payment technology can also save manpower in the industry, effectively allocate resources, and improve customer service quality.
After each guest shared his or her share, it was time for business communication. Participants responded very enthusiastically, and most of them inquired about the QFPay smart terminal API, how to connect to the merchant’s existing application and the process of applying for account opening, etc.
